Our programs: University support
Sama Gaza’s University Support Program aims to expand access to higher education for youth from the Gaza Camp who face significant financial barriers. Through this program, Sama Gaza covers a portion of university tuition fees, enabling students to continue their education and pursue their academic goals.
The program is designed around a model of shared responsibility and dignity. In return for this support, students commit to contributing a set number of volunteer hours within Sama Gaza’s programs, giving back to their community and supporting ongoing initiatives. They also contribute a small, manageable monthly amount and are responsible for repaying 50% of the tuition support provided.
To date, the program has supported over 100 students to successfully graduate from university, creating real pathways toward employment, independence, and long-term stability.
This approach ensures that students remain actively engaged, build a sense of ownership, and develop both professional and social skills, while also allowing the program to sustain and support future beneficiaries.
More than financial assistance, the program is an investment in long-term empowerment—supporting youth to access education, contribute to their community, and build more stable futures.
